How do I edit Mesh Colliders in Unity?
Sometimes you want to make colliders that are less geometrically complicated than your 3d models. Unity gives you a few easy options, such as Box or Capsule colliders.
These are pretty easy to use, edit, and position.
Making custom, low poly colliders is not as easy as this. I wanted a simple cone shaped collider for this bag so I made it in Blender really quickly.
Placing this directly on my GameObject did not allow me to scale it properly. What did work was to create a child element with a Mesh Collider of my simple cone model. Then I scaled that child.
That worked pretty well. Minor adjustments are easy now.
